This series tells the story of a group of sentient, cybernetic lions, lead by the venerable and thoughtful Tgegani, who are born as agents, or proxies, in a war between two extremely powerful forces, one benevolent (Meshua), and one malevolent (Negago). Through the series they are called upon repeatedly to protect their people from danger, harm, and the forces of darkness.
Through these experiences they grow, mature, live, love, fight and even die to protect their people and ensure their safety. These are not hollow, empty machines, but rather living, thriving sentient lifeforms that live in a gigantic, loving family who seek to protect all those under their charge.
