Hello again, everyone!  It's been a few months since I last did a writing update.  That's mostly due to slow progress on my current projects due to lack of time.  Why is it that, as you get older, you have less time to do stuff like this?  lol.  Anyhow, it's been since July when I updated you last, so I felt that it wouldn't hurt to do an update.  So here's the current state of writing.

Offworld Chronicles: I'm coming really close to finishing this up by completing book 7, the final story in the series.  It's still probably gonna be February before this is done, and I'm satisfied with the story.  That ending though, wow, that's proving way more work than I expected.  It's got kind of an Avengers Endgame feel to it, but I don't want it to be cliche or lame or anything like that.  I want the story to come together with the best possible ending, so I'm pouring a LOT of work into the ending, and a lot of the 5th and 6th hextant elements as they take up the better part of half of the book.  So, again, I'm doing my best, with what little free time I have to write anymore.  But, when I'm done, I will make sure this is the best finale that the book could possibly have.  You all deserve that for sticking with me on this series for the past nearly five years.  Thank you to everyone.  It really means a lot. :)

Planetfall: All I'm gonna say is, it's a thing.  lol.  The more I've dug into this, the more I'm realizing just how challenging this is going to be.  I never realized how much work it would be writing a colony building series.  It's really fun, the story so far has been amazing (and I'm not just bragging that because I'm the author.  I really mean it!) so far, but wow.  I thought I had a ton of world building to do on OWC.  Um, nope.  This puts that series to shame.  lol.  And don't worry, I'm not gonna info dump on you guys.  Most of the background world I build is for my use.  But that doesn't mean it's not gonna be a challenge to do.  But hey, that's how I like it.  I mean, it wouldn't be fun to write if it wasn't a challenge. :D

Other Books: I have a plan to take a bunch of my smaller book projects, things like "The Giving Spirit", "The Man Who Reached For God", "The Unreachable Continent", and "Grumpy Ned" (yes, this one is in my short story anthology, but I want to give it a full novel treatment if I can), and work on them as I'm world building with Planetfall.  This way I have new works coming out while all of you are waiting on Planetfall.  Since that's going to be delayed until I finish, at the very least, book 3 (I expect 7-9 books out of that series) of that series, these will be used to fill in the gaps between then and now.  So again, these smaller projects should be quick to grind out, as they're all stand alone works, and already have a foundation on which I can start, save for Giving Spirit, so that should allow them to get produced pretty quickly.  After that, the next series of books is Planetfall.  WOOHOO! :)

Video Series: I'm still grinding away on an idea to do a weekly, or semi-weekly series on my three major worlds, namely Earthfleet, Land of the Lions, and Offworld, explaining the characters, the worlds, the technology, cities, kingdoms, and so on of each.  Basically this will start with an introduction to each, and then expand out, covering items that are in the wiki, and some that are not.  So this will basically better explain the various characters and world elements in more detail, how they work, why they are the way they are, and so on.  People have been asking me to do this for a while, and I've been considering doing it myself too, but I need the free time, and the courage to do it as I get nervous in front of a camera.  haha.  But, I'll make it work somehow. ;)

Anyhow, that's my latest update.  Feel free to comment on this latest update.  I always appreciate your feedback. :)
