It's been a good month since I last posted an update in regards to my books, so I thought I'd post an update again since we're now in the first days of July.  So here's my latest update, and the progress of my writing as it presently stands.

Earthfleet: All further editing work on this is on hold for now until other things are finished or fixed.  So my last update on this still applies.

Offworld Book 6: This book is on hold for now as the work on Planetfall is taking precedent right now.  This is partially because Offworld ties into Planetfall, so I want to get far enough into that story so that I'm certain that any foreshadowing done in the last two books of Offworld is properly in order.  Once I'm sure of that, book 6 will be released.  I'm still aiming for this fall to release it, but we'll see.

Offworld Book 7: I have no ETA on this, although the rough draft of it is finally completed.  But it's got a gobton of work ahead of it before it's anywhere near ready for release.  Realistically I'm looking at this being released sometime around the early or middle part of next year.  But, that depends on where a lot of other things go first, including the editing on this book as it's still very, very rough.

Planetfall: I decided, around the 5th of June, to sit down and do some exploratory writing.  Um, wow.  I had so many backlogged ideas, and so much content in my mind already, that I've completely finished the rough draft for book 1, and I'm already 20% of the way through book 2 with no signs of slowing down.  Yes, seriously.  After working on Offworld for so many years, the new genre type of Planetfall, built in the existing world of Offworld, has been an incredibly refreshing literary effort for me.  Instead of scifi survival fiction, this one is world building, with a new cast of characters, a few old ones, and lots of great fun as Simon and crew go about starting a whole new civilization and society on the far off world of Ember, entirely from the ground up.

I think when it's released, you'll find it to be just as much fun to read, as I had writing it.  And to think, this all started out with me doing some exploritory writing to kinda flesh out the story, explore ideas, build worlds and characters, and so much more, and it just began flowing out of me like a waterfall.  So, when am I going to be releasing this?  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  Your guess is as good as mine.  At this point, it'll probably be late 2022 before that sees publication.  Plus, having learned from my long adventure with Offworld, I want to get at least 3-4 books ahead (not the previous 1) as it avoids a lot of troubles that I ran into even with the one book lead of Offworld, such as canon issues and the like that don't reveal themselves until several books later.

Hence why I want to get the rough drafts for at least up through book 3-4 before I bother completing book one, and publishing it.  That may push back Offworld 6 a little bit, but I think it'll be entirely worth it in the end.  Especially if it helps make Offworld 7, and all of the following Planetfall books all that much better. :)

Other Titles: I have nothing new to report here.  I probably won't for a while at this point.  But, if something changes, I'll let you all know.
