I think I've posted this before, but if not, I'm posting this again because I feel that everyone needs to read it again.

A Testimony of Healing and Faith

Something for you to think about tonight. In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus is seen several times healing people and saying, "According to your faith be it unto you." According to your faith. Have you ever really thought about that? According to *YOUR* faith. Is it possible there's something in your life that's not being healed, an addiction that's not being broken, a life change that's not happening, all because of your lack of faith, or outright unbelief?

"But I do believe!"

True, but how much? Case in point from my own life. Due to an epic case of clutzism I succeeded in royally screwing up my ankle. I mean it hurt something terrible. It went like that for weeks and weeks but never got better. I prayed and prayed and prayed during that time for God to heal it, and I kept hearing in my heart, "If you will only believe, it will be healed." Yet it wasn't healed. Why?

One simple answer. I didn't believe God would heal it. "According to your faith be it unto you." No faith, no healing. Some faith, some healing. Great faith, great healing. But that applies to other areas in your life too. Money, relationships, employment and more. In the case of my ankle, the sprain that never got better did eventually get a miraculous healing. What I had to do was to pray hard, drive the doubt out of my mind and believe with all that I had that God WOULD heal me.

Not might. Not maybe. Not possibly. WOULD. PERIOD. "According to your faith be it unto you." Yes, there are some things in our lives that are like Paul's thorn in the flesh. But most things aren't. Most things God wants to fix, wants to heal in your life. All that's required on your part is to believe, and not just a little, but believe strongly and greatly. When I finally reached that point where I believed unconditionally, got rid of the "IF" in my thoughts and replaced it with a "WILL", the ankle was instantly and miraculously healed.

No pain, no sprain, no doubt. Nothing but healed. And all I had to do was believe and trust WHOLLY AND COMPLETELY that God would heal me. Remember, as Jesus said to those He healed, "According to your faith be it unto you." According to your faith your prayers will be answered.
