| Thought for the day. Anytime you feel that God can't do a miracle in your life, remember this. He parted a sea, raised the dead, and fed five thousand from a young boy's sack lunch. And if you should ever feel that God can't defend you, remember that He saved Israel by slaying 185,000 Asyrians in ONE NIGHT using just ONE ANGEL. Just one. So the same God who created the vastness of the universe can easily solve your tiny little problem without so much as breaking a sweat. So never fear, the Lord is always near. He will defend His own without any trouble at all. The only question is, are you one of His, and if so, how strong is your relationship? The stronger you are in Christ, the safer you are in life. That doesn't mean you won't have troubles and trials, as those are meant to grow you, and to reach others with the Gospel. However, it does mean that your soul is safely protected in the arms of Jesus even if your body be slaughtered and burned, as it is not you. Your body is only a temporary house in which YOU reside. The REAL YOU. So never fear, so long as the Lord is YOUR God, then not even the gates of Hell, or the worst it has to offer can harm you. |
